Who's behind Natty.
Natty is new, so it's fair to ask who's behind it.
Why Natty exists
I'm Neal, and Natty started the way most of my projects do, with something that was needlessly inefficient.
My hair takes about thirty seconds in the morning, but only because a specialist knows exactly how to cut it. Finding that person is the hard part, and then finding the time to get to them. It's the same with the things I keep meaning to make room for, yoga and a bit of mindfulness among them. None of it should cost you an afternoon and a drive across the city.
Running an engineering company leaves you with a low tolerance for waste. Half-empty diaries and long drives between appointments, and the hours that go on logistics, all look to me like a scheduling problem, and scheduling problems can usually be solved. So I'm building Natty to connect clients with skilled independent professionals and help those professionals fill the gaps in their day, while they keep what they earn and the clients they build.
I'm not from the beauty industry, so I'm building Natty with the professionals who are, starting with a small group of founding professionals who'll shape how it works. It's early days, so it's small and I run it hands-on, and I'd rather say that plainly than pretend we're bigger than we are.
What to expect
If you're a professional and you register your interest, I'll be in touch personally, or someone from the team will, for a quick, no-pressure chat. If you've joined the client waitlist, you'll hear from us when bookings open in your area, and not before.
And while the platform's still being built, we'll make each introduction personally.
If someone messaged you about Natty
I don't do all the outreach myself. A small team of outreach coordinators helps me get in touch with professionals around Auckland, and they message from their own Instagram or email accounts, so the first message you get about Natty might come from one of them rather than from me.
